Overachieving Young Women Still Battle Self-Esteem Issues

This is a very interesting article from AlterNet about smart, strong young women who seem to have everything -- except self-esteem. A group of Miami (OH) college girls had faced self-esteem-related disorders, including depression and eating disorders, and now they wanted to talk about their experiences and their recoveries. They organized a group called Achieving You, where they share their experiences with high school girls, hoping to provide guidance and support to their younger peers.

Managing your esteem is difficult. You can be suffering from a lack of it or an overdose of it.

I liked the post.
